What is the difference between NIR and wet chemistry?
NIR analyzes sample composition in under a minute, with no chemicals and without destroying the sample, so it suits routine testing. Wet chemistry, such as Kjeldahl and Soxtec, is the reference method and is also used to calibrate NIR instruments.
Can we test on the production line, not just in the lab?
Yes. FOSS offers at-line and in-line solutions as well as lab instruments, including X-ray systems for meat. We are happy to review your process and recommend.
Do you service and calibrate FOSS instruments in Israel?
Yes. The Soltek service team installs, trains, maintains, repairs and calibrates FOSS instruments across Israel, using original spare parts.
